Warm-up and Objective Discussion:
• Ask pupils about their favorite songs
• Discuss with pupils how should be the best songs
• Turn on music for 30 seconds and ask pupils to guess the song.
Instruct and Model:
• Teacher introduces new words.
• Teacher writes a part of the song on whiteboard with missing some words in the middle. Then turns on music one more time and together with pupils adds missed words.
• Teacher pronounces the missed and filled words clearly, pupils will repeat after the teacher.
Guided Practice:
• Teacher divides pupils into 4 groups as A, B, C and D. Distributes handouts to 4 groups, turns music on and asks to find and write missed words.
• Teacher turns the music off and checks the answers.
• Teacher invites pupils to sing a song together.
Independent Practice:
• Turn on music one more time and ask pupils to draw the picture which comes to their mind while listening the song.
Assessment:
• Ask pupils to show their drawings to their pairs.
• Ask pupils to talk about their pair’s pictures.
• Give pupils a home task: to take a photo of their drawings and share it at school page on Facebook and also, pupils should look at other pupils’ works there and choose one. Then they should simply describe that picture and express their own opinion in written form.
