Armed Forces Day parade led by the massed pipe bands along Union Street, Aberdeen, Scotland in 2017

With no Armed Forces day public parades in Scotland again in 2021, here are some of the highlights from the 2017 parade along Union Street, Aberdeen, Scotland. The parade involved serving military personnel, veterans and their associations, cadet and youth organisation, all led by the massed pipes and drums.

Ahead of the parade were veterans on their motorcycles, then following were vintage military vehicles. These included British and American vehicles, Land rover, Jeep, scimitar armoured vehicle. The bands taking part were the Lonach Pipe Band, Huntly & District Pipe Band, The London Scottish pipes and drums, Kintore Pipe Band and Aberdeen UTOC Drums and Pipes.
