In this Weekend University talk, Dr Mark Vernon - a writer, broadcaster, psychotherapist and faculty member at The School of Life, will discuss the Evolution of Consciousness.

The lecture will explore how our very experience of being human has changed over time, and how this can account for the birth of philosophy, as we tend to think of it, and the emergence of psychotherapy in the 20th century.
