Hospitals have always been filled with heroes, even before the COVID-19 pandemic set in.

A new docu-series on Netflix, “Lenox Hill,” serves as a timely reminder with its compelling look at the pre-coronavirus work done behind the walls of that New York hospital system. “What I would tell myself, if I had a crystal ball before COVID, is, ‘Get ready,’ ” says documentary subject Dr. John Boockvar, the hospital’s vice-chair of neurosurgery, in an exclusive interview with The Post.
