3.94ct Burmese (Mogok) Ruby Rough
This rough was sourced from Mogok in Burma, the traditional home to the worlds finest rubies. This piece would be considered cabochon grade, though it could also fact to a nice stone. It has a fine hue and saturation with a slight hint of violet to the red body colour. It has a good shape for cutting and should cut a 2ct cabochon or 1-1.5ct faceted stone.
