RV Smell Bad? Maggots Stopped our Air Admittance Valve from Working

The air admittance valve (AAV) in our fifth wheel RV kitchen galley holding tank became blocked from opening and closing properly allowing bad odors to engulf our RV inside. Upon removing the AAV under the kitchen sink, it was easy to see what had happened, as dozens of dead maggots were lining the inside of the valve and blocking the diaphragm valve from working.
Now, between trips, we pour a couple gallons of water with bleach down the sink drain. This should do the trick.
