Some Honda preventive maintenance jobs are extremely easy to do yourself and save serious money while you do it. The key is to be alert while you perform these simple tasks and "look around" while your head is under the hood. A good mechanic is a very observant mechanic. After allowing the engine to cool down, feel the radiator hoses with a firm squeeze, if you cannot get your hands on them at least take a good look. Flex the serpentine belt a little as you look at the underside for small cracks. Look around for wiring that has escaped from it's original clip or taped wrappings.
Don't worry about trying to "see" it all, what you miss this time you may very well catch the next.
