Hakainde Hichilema calls on SADC to support 2021 Zambia Elections

Zambia's opposition United Party for National Development leader, Hakainde Hichilema has called on SADC member countries to support his country ahead of the 2021 national elections. He spoke to our Foreign Editor Sophie Mokoena earlier. Hichilema, an economist and businessman popularly known as HH, was arrested in April last year and charged with treason after his motor convoy reportedly failed to make way for incumbent President Edgar Lungu's. He was released in August after state prosecutors dropped the charges. He is in the country to speak to other stakeholders ahead of this important poll.
