FortiWeb-API Protection/Install WireMock (Preparation of network infrastructure) Part18

WireMock is a flexible and powerful tool for mocking and simulating HTTP-based APIs. It allows developers to create a mock server that can simulate real API behavior for testing purposes. WireMock supports request and response matching, allowing the simulation of different scenarios like status codes, delays, and custom responses. It's commonly used for testing microservices, integration tests, and API-dependent applications when the actual service is unavailable or difficult to set up. It can be configured to respond to HTTP requests with pre-defined data, making it ideal for isolated testing without relying on external dependencies.

We will also prepare several APIs for further lessons where we will apply policies in WAF to protect APIs.
