Merle Haggard - Mirrors Don't Lie

This song was recorded during the same session as "Movin' On" in 1974, but amazingly never released (until the Bear Family set in 2007). I first heard this song by Marty Stuart (from his 1987 CD "Let there be Country"), and George Strait used to perform it in concert. This is the original (kind of Hag's answer to "I Never Go Around Mirrors"). Maybe he wrote this intending to pitch it to Lefty?
