"Well, this collection was inspired by really just summertime and, you know, beautiful dressing. And, you know, you still have to go to work in the summertime, most people. So I wanted to give my customers some great options that they could be a little more lightweight in the summertime, but still give that Sergio Hudson feeling. And also, you know, when they go to the Hamptons, when they go to Martha's Vineyard. That's really the inspiration for the collection. So you'll see a lot of like great summer event outfits. And I just really I'm excited because I've never done a smaller collection. So we got to really focus in on each look."

"And you'll be able to actually walk up to them and touch the garments and, you know, see exactly what it is. I don't feel like people have gone to them, unless they go in the store and see the clothes."

"It's very neutral, which is different for me. I was a little scared, but, you know, the buyers really loved it. And, you know, I feel like my customer is going to—some designers they always do neutrals and then they do coloring. People go crazy. I feel like it's going to be the reverse for me."

"It's a small collection, so I wanted to be able to showcase, you know, what we really do at Sergio Hudson, which is great tailoring, great dressmaking, intricate details, but simplicity and modernity and, you know, minimalism at the same time. And I wanted people to be able to see it up close and personal. And that's what I feel like we've done, you know, I'm excited."

"I live in Los Angeles, and Los Angeles gave me my entryway into the industry. Well, of course, I am a New York designer. I still live in Los Angeles, and it's home for me. I'm kind of an adopted Angeleno, and, you know, my business partner is from here. So we are very much Los Angeles people. Anytime we're in New York, we're running home. So just to be able to do something—and I have a big fan base here for the collection and they haven't gotten to, you know, experience the Sergio Hudson moment with all the models and you know actual showcase. And hearing the music that I love. So, you know, I really feel like I'm excited about that."
