Conduit Bending: How To Use Setback Correctly.
In this video I will educate you on how to find the setback to any size conduit and type bender.
This is a process that you can do when you first step up to a hand bender, electric bender, and/or hydraulic bender. You should chart your bender if you never used that particular bender before. Find the Gain exactly how the video explains it. After finding the gain you can figure out the Setback.
The setback is used to give you a reference point for the back of the 90 stub this way you can lay out a kick or any other bend you may want to do.
SETBACK = Take up - Gain
