Should You Flush Your Hot Water Heater?
Sediment or deposits can build up in some hot water heaters. Watch as I demonstrate how to flush a typical hot water tank and give a tip on how to tell if you should be flushing your tank. Municipal water supplies may differ from well water as far as producing sediment or deposits and there are other factors, like the hardness of the water, which make a difference. Flushing is a fairly easy task that any homeowner can do, however.
