UK Elections | One week until UK voters head to the polls

There are seven days to go until voters in the UK go to the polls for the general election on the 4th of July.

After 14 years in power, it's widely predicted that the governing Conservative Party will suffer a sizeable defeat.

Discontent with how they have handled the cost of living crisis and the wider economy has been coupled with an ongoing scandal about betting on the date of the general election.

The more left-wing Labour Party, which last won an election when Tony Blair was leader, look on course to form the next government.
