Only municipalities that have used cost-of supply methodology eligible for tariff increase

The North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria has ordered that only municipalities that have done cost-of-supply studies are eligible for a tariff increase on 1 July. According to Nersa, 178 municipal distribution companies have been approved for tariffs. Energy Analyst, Mthunzi Luthuli joins us for conversation.
