Why? Because it takes too long to get through a full album in a single sitting. Yet, personal playlists typically include hours of music, often listened to for the same duration as an LP. Coming out with a single every six months may be in vogue, but it's a trend that is stifling the creativity of true artists. If you grew up on LPs, then you know what we're talking about.
