Cyclone Nivar: 'We Moved to Terrace as Water Flooded the House' | The Quint

#MyReport | Heavy rains followed cyclonic storm Nivar in Chennai, and parts of the city were flooded overnight. Velachery, which is one of the low-lying areas of Chennai, was soon inundated. Locals living in the area took shelter on their terraces as water from the streets entered their houses.
