GALEN HOOKS + RIO & TONE, "IF" Combo

I saw this combo that they taught in class and just wanted to learn it so bad. It looked really difficult, and I was right. It's 10 times harder than it looks.

Both Rio and Tone are incredibly versatile. They both have strong technical backgrounds that allow them to hit unexpectedly beautiful lines, tap backgrounds that result in crazy footwork and musicality, and so much soul/feeling/groove/aggression on top of it. Not only that, but the sheer stamina for a combo like this is crazy.

I've gotten to dance their choreography on many jobs and it was just so fun to have that feeling again of being in a rehearsal and learning challenging choreography. I've only been dancing my own choreography lately- it was so refreshing to dance someone else's stuff!

They took about 30 min to teach it to me and run it before we taped it.
