Weekly Run Training - 2024 - Week 07 (Total ➡ 46K)

This week training was not easy.

I started the week being sick, heavy head, bad couch, ...
You get the picture.

Because of that took it slow the first few days.
From Thursday started to feel better so went outside again.
Which felt great, but still noticed that my breathing wasn't optimal.

Saturday was slowly turning into a bad day, running wise did my long run in the new Brooks Hyperion elite 4 and ended up with 2 blisters!
First impressions of that coming really soon...
After the run also started to feel overall bad again, which continued on Sunday.

The run on Sunday was supposed to be 9,8K to wrap up the week at 50K (which still would have only been half of what i normally do) but i just didn't had the energy in me for it.
Called it quits...

From Wednesday started to incorporate strength & conditioning sessions, 10 minutes per session.
I'm doing a lower body, core and upper body alternating routine.
On the day i do my long run i don't do any S&C!

Managed to do 4 sessions this week and plan to continue moving forward 💪
