Fatherhood Story 11: Von Davis, Father of Four

Von Davis is a father of four. He and his wife made an audacious move from California to Georgia to improve their quality of life as a family.

While in California, both he and his wife worked. In fact, Davis had two jobs. Although financially doing well, Davis was unintentionally disconnected with the family. He was barely around for birthdays, and often missed church with the family.

Now living in Georgia with a lower cost of living, the quality of life is a 180 shift. His wife was able to stay at home and be an awesome mom to their children. He’s able to provide with one job, and more ingrained into the children’s daily activities. He loves giving baths to his younger children, and getting the children ready in the morning.

“Since moving to Georgia, I wanted to hone in and become more present as a father.
