Bobby V Interview: New EP Peach Moon, Five Songs of Wow

Bobby V embarks on a new journey musically. On December 10th, Bobby V's drops Peach Moon. Peach Moon coalesces soul instruments of horns, pianos, and live drums into reminiscent sounds of timeless R&B music. Showcasing his new piano playing, and replicating what you will see in his live shows.

Over the last couple of decades, R&B as a genre has oscillated through phases of hip hop influences, auto tune, instrumentation, and electronic dance. As an artist, there's an inherent risk with producing music specifically for those trends to generate radio play.

Bobby V is done playing that game. While brainstorming his new music, and looking out of his studio window, he sees a peach moon. The peach moon becomes a symbol of change and growth. The irony stands with the peach being the first fruit eaten on the moon becomes a coincidence with Bobby V swinging his musical vibe.
