The Real Story of Lamar Odom in His Words (1st Public Speech)

In November of 2019, the enigmatic and often maligned and severely misunderstood Lamar Odom, took the stage at Miramar Cultural Arts Center just outside of Miami, for his 1st public speech.

Bringing us into his childhood and the pain of losing his father to drugs and his mother to cancer, one instantly feels the primary driver behind all of Lamar - escaping pain. Escaping pain brought him to basketball heights and to life’s lows.

Determined to show his children and himself another way, Lamar, with the support of Liza Morales, Destiny Odom, Lamar Jr and Sabrina Parr, for perhaps the first time in his life, Lamar embraced pain and discomfort head on and courageously leaned into delivering an honest life testimony in front of hundreds of adoring fans.
