Dear Mom,

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you.

Mom, today I want to thank you for your Yes, for accepting my Father’s plan in your life, for saying yes to my life, helping me change history, and for being part of the plan of salvation for all men.

Since your creation, my Father had stamped a seal of motherhood on your heart and fixed his eyes on you, on your smallness and humility, which is why all generations call you blessed.

Mom, thank you for teaching me always to do the will of my Father and for keeping in your heart those mysteries that can only be revealed to a mother. Thank you for your silence, for being the pillar on which I collapsed more than once, and for giving me the strength to continue my mission. Thank you for your presence filled with the Holy Spirit and always being open to his grace.

Thank you for taking care of my brothers, for your insatiable desire to bring them to me, for your gentleness and subtlety in loving them, for reflecting my love, and for continuing to love forever and ever.
