Bars and Melody: Young Stars Festival Best International Artist award—& other random stuff (30/8/17)

Bars and Melody—Leondre Devries and Charlie Lenahan—win the Best International Artist award at the Young Stars Festival 2017, in Warsaw, Poland.

After concluding their set, Leo and Charlie are surprised on stage to be presented with their award by Polish music producer and founder of the My Music record label, Remigiusz Łupicki, aka DJ Remik.

Bars and Melody are Leondre Devries and Charlie Lenehan, a rapping and singing duo who were Britain's Got Talent 2014 finalists.

After the show, Bars and Melody were signed by Simon Cowell. Their début, anti-bullying single Hopeful came out in July 2014.

Leo and Charlie have since released further singles, their début album 143 and their Teen Spirit EP, have toured extensively across the world; and have a huge fandom, not only in the UK, but also, especially, in Poland and in Japan, where they have made two albums with Avex, one of Japan’s largest record labels.

Bars and Melody’s new album Generation Z is due out in September and can be pre-ordered now.
