Following a high-level review with Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma, the UNICEF delegation lauded the state’s ambitious "003 Agenda"—targeting zero maternal deaths, zero unimmunised children, and optimal growth in the first 1,000 days of life. Herrero and her team highlighted the success of the Mission 1000 Days programme and the state's unique integrated governance approach, which empowers grassroots communities and involves youth in policymaking.
