These are signs that, you know what, it's time to dump him. One of the biggest problems, especially with the clients that I coach is that a lot of women struggle when they should dump a guy. They don't understand when they should let go of a guy because a lot of times their emotions tend to rationalize things.

Your brain is looking for confirmation bias and it's trying to preserve its positive self-image. I'm here to expose those lies.

When you guys have different priorities. This is something that's important when it comes to relationships. Sometimes, you guys are just at different points in life. It's not about the age. It's all about what you value. You guys might be the same age, but then he might value being in the relationship. He might be valuing stability, but you might be valuing just having fun. That's not gonna work out. Even if he convinces you out of that phase, there will still be a part of you that's going to want to be the same. You guys will be wasting your time because you're not going to be committed to it.

When he doesn't change and he's always blaming you. You notice that he's blaming you for the things that go wrong in his life. He'll ask you to do things, but he'll find something to complain about. You try to rationalize that maybe you were wrong in some way, but he was also wrong in another way. He doesn't agree. There is a point where you're just hurting yourself by trying to be rational with these kind of guys. When someone doesn't admit that they’re wrong, that's an issue.

He hasn't gotten over his ex. You know who he is thinking about when you're having sex? He's thinking of her. You know who he compared you with when he first met you? He compared you to her. You know what happens when he sees a picture of his ex? He's thinking about them being together. Don't get a guy who's on the rebound. You notice when he's talking about his ex. He says that he had a tough break up. It may work out, but if the ex starts calling and wants to talk things through, he may suddenly get busier. Suddenly, he starts buying nice cologne or new outfits. Relationships with guys who are not over their exes have a good chance of not working out. He may be attributing his love for you to the pain caused by losing his ex. It's not that he's in love with you. He just finds comfort with you.
