This is the longplay of the game Phalanx: The Enforce Fighter A-144 (or simply Phalanx), a horizontally scrolling shooter developed by ZOOM Inc. and Kemco for the Sharp X68000, Super Nintendo and Game Boy Advance. This is the Super Nintendo version, released in 1992 in the United States, Japan and Europe.

The game's story takes place in space, more precisely on the planet Delia IV, located in the Andromeda galaxy. Delia IV is a planet very similar to Earth and, despite being relatively small, it is very important for the continuation of interstellar research and technology, in addition to maintaining one of the most powerful defense systems in the universe, the MIDAS system, which carries enough firepower to annihilate an entire planetary system, as demonstrated in the 2nd Galactic Civil War. However, a mysterious alien life form that no humanity had ever encountered before completely took over the military system of Delia IV in a devastating stealth attack, which not even the MIDAS system could prevent.

Hoping to save Delia IV, MIDAS commander Hien Carter ordered the launch of a powerful starfighter prototype; the A-144 Enforce Fighter, codenamed PHALANX, piloted by legendary pilot Wink Baufield. In the game, we must control the A-144 spaceship, defeating enemies along the way and picking up different weapons, which can be switched depending on the situation. Each weapon has a powerful attack that can be used up, but this completely drains the weapon and requires picking it up again. It is possible to carry up to 3 different weapons at the same time.

It is a good game. The video was made by playing all the levels and obtaining the 4 secret passages. The game also became famous for its bizarre cover, with an old man playing a banjo while a spaceship flies in the background.
