Damian Lillard - Superb Separation 17/18 (Finishing)

Damian Lillard. All-NBA First Team in 2018. 3x NBA All-Star. All-NBA Second Team All-NBA Third Team. NBA Rookie of the Year. Dame DOLLA was dominant during the 2017-18 season. He finished 4th in the league in scoring (behind the top 3 Most Valuable Player candidates, James Harden, Anthony Davis, and LeBron James and ahead of the likes of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and Kyrie Irving), finished in the top 10 in assists per game, Player Efficiency Rating (PER), and was 4th overall in the Value Over Replacement Player metric.

He’s an absolute animal when it comes to creating separation, and he’s strong and smooth enough to make magic to get to the basket. He’s got SO MUCH RANGE that you have to play him tight close to when he crosses half court, and then it’s just a matter of him getting downhill and dominating rotating help at the rim. He’s got great touch, and somewhat underrated is his ability to elevate and detonate around the basket. He’s got a deadly drag dribble, he’ll get guys jumping with his jabs and jukes, and his hesi is…well, he wears the number zero because it’s the letter O and I say that to say that it’s Over when you get hit with that hesi.
