Tough Love

Hey everyone! Here's the next episode of Brewster's Millions Of Rants with Tough Love. The overall concept behind this episode has been on the back burner for a while and it wasn't until I recently spotted a candid backstage lesson with Joe Satriani from a few years ago. In the clip, he demonstrated a few of the ideas that I had tucked away for a lesson idea, so seeing his footage prompted me to create this lesson and share these ideas with the viewers out there - let's dive in!

This lesson revolves around locating basic triads/chords and mapping the fretboard in different positions, while also locating the related scale, chord, and arpeggio fingering that resides in each area. This type of practice will not only help you understand scale/chord construction, keys, and the relationships between them but also provides insight into mastering the notes on the fretboard while expanding your overall awareness of where all of these things are located all over the neck.
