Odisha Cabinet approves 17 proposals // David Warner set a new record

On Tuesday, the Odisha Cabinet approved 17 proposals at a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in Bhubaneswar. According to reports, the proposals included increasing the grant-in-aid period for upper primary school teachers and extending the period for state-aided private high schools. The Cabinet also approved a proposal for flight services from Bhubaneswar to Dubai, Singapore, and Bangkok during the meeting.

David Warner became the 10th man in Test history to score a century in his 100th Test, and the second to score a double, with a rollicking innings against South Africa at the MCG, breaking a near three-year Test century drought. With his 25th Test century and third Test double century, he joined an illustrious group of names and became only the second Australian to do so, trailing only Ricky Ponting, who scored twin hundreds in his 100th Test. The only other player to score a double century in his 100th Test was Joe Root.
