Standard Definitions for Water Loss - Dave Pearson
In December 2019 the IWA published, at the request of the WLSG, a compendium of definitions for use in water loss management. This was authored by Dave Pearson supported by an editor (Andrew Donnelly) and a small editorial panel.
The intention was to provide a series of definitions that could be used by practitioners in the field of water loss management across the world. The definitions were supported by a number of photographs as well as figures.
The “book” has been provided as an open source reference available on the IWA Publishing website at no cost and can be readily downloaded in pdf format. The book has already been published in Chinese and is being released this week and Romania is currently working on a translation.
In this webinar, the author will provide some background to the development of the book and some of the issues encountered.
