Dr. Danielle Jones, board certified ObGyn, discusses COVID-19 in pregnancy. This update covers maternal illness, high risk, trying to conceive, c-sections for COVID, and much more. The data we have right now is limited, but we do our best to answer some of the most commonly asked questions. The fetal risks seems to be an unknown, although we aren’t seeing malformations related to SARS-CoV-2 right now. There have been no maternal mortalities (maternal deaths) as of the writing of this description on March 22, 2020.
