In a bold move to secure the International Border, the Indian Army has activated the specialized Ashni Platoon in the Samba sector, equipped with cutting-edge Ashni anti-drone systems to neutralize enemy incursions. GOC 9 Corps, Lt Gen Rajan Sharawat, personally reviewed the unit's ground preparedness and operational readiness amid escalating threats.
