Tessa and Scott ~ About Today

This film is all about TS quiet moments. Before and after a performance, a private moment in practice. I often feel this quiet energ when I watch them. They aren’t loud, they don’t force you to watch them. They give you no choice but to watch them. They’re always so in their bubble that you always feel you are getting a little peak into something very very special and intimate- whether that be in their actual performances or just being present and enjoying existijg in their shared space together.
The lyrics, tone and sentiment of this song are quite sad. But I have directed it in a way where the visuals contrast to the audio. The hope is this produces nostalgic, melancholy, bittersweet, happiness. I have a soft spot for music and film that gives off these vibes, whether though intent or my own reactions.
