Southeast Ohio Supercell Hailstorm (3-30-24)

Well I’m back with another video, after a 2 week break of chasing storms since the March 14th tornado outbreak, I decided to shake off the rust a little :)

On March 30th 2024 the SPC put out a marginal risk for severe weather stretching from western Ohio down into WV, with the main risk being hail and lightning. However later that afternoon they decide to upgrade to Slight risk of severe storms with still hail being the same main hazard and now the off chance of a brief brief tornado. Anyway, started my day around Marion, Ohio and quickly followed the storms SE toward Newark and eventually end my chase in Thornville, Ohio where I intercepted a crazy hail core!
