Chicken Recipe:
Ingredients:
Chicken breast slices or pounded to under 1" thick.
1 large shallot, finely chopped
2 large cloves of garlic, pressed (about 1.5 tsp).
1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup white wine
1/2 cup chicken stock (I used bone broth)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Parsley
Instructions:
Heat 2 tbsp butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. When butter is bubbling and hot add in chicken and cook 2-3 minutes per side until the chicken reaches 160 degrees (it'll continue to cook).
Remove chicken and set aside. Add in shallots and cook 2 minutes until softened. Add in pressed garlic and stir for 1 minute until fragrant. Add in white wine and reduce. Add in chicken stock and reduce again. Taste and season with salt. Lower heat, and add in 4 tbsp of butter and whisk until emulsified and combined.
Serve over chicken.

Asparagus Recipe:
1 bunch of asparagus
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp salt
Water
Clean asparagus and chop or break off lower quarter of asparagus.
Boil 2 inches of water in a saucepan. Add in butter and salt and place steamer basket in pot. Place asparagus in basket, cover, and cook 4-5 minutes, for thick asparagus and 3-4 minutes for thin asparagus.

Hot chocolate drink:
1 packet of hot chocolate (I would add half to start)
1 oz Rumchata
1 oz Irish cream liqueur
Whipped Cream *optional
Prepare hot chocolate with boiling water or hot milk, add in Rumchata and Irish cream liqueur. Top with optional whipped Cream.
