Tour de Cairn Gorm I Solitude on the quiet side of Cairn Gorm I Loch Avon I Coire Raibert

Join me and Meg on a 14km hike starting and finishing at the Cairngorms ski centre and visiting the quiet south side of Cairn Gorm. After a direct ascent to the summit via Windy Ridge, we head east towards Cnap Coire na Spreidhe where we pick up the path down to The Saddle. The path takes us along the north side of Loch Avon before we make the steep ascent up the side of Coire Raibert. We top out at the 1141m cairn and then descend into Coire Cas and make our way through the ski area and back to the car park.
