Rub line located at a large scrape

Had a small doe enter in before legal light, she hung around till 6:40a.m. and wandered out. It was my day. Still early let her walk. 8am came around and things got exciting. Watching the back edge line to be surprised by a buck entering mid field along wood line. Fed him the ol Texas long shot at 35 yards. Quartering strait to me. Strait in his chest and out his back hip/hind end. Front end dropped into the dirt, struggled to pick him self up and staggard back into the woods. Check hit site. No blood or hair like I expected.
