मामला अमेरिका का है. कैलिफोर्निया के लॉटरी अधिकारियों ने अपने आधिकारिक ट्विटर हैंडल से इस खबर का ऐलान किया है. इसमें बताया गया है कि एडविन कास्ट्रो नामक शख्स ने पावरबॉल जैकपॉट जीता है और एकमुश्त 997.6 मिलियन डॉलर (करीब 8,277 करोड़ रुपये) की अदायगी स्वीकार की है. प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में केवल रकम और विजेता के नाम का ऐलान किया गया है. इसके अलावा कोई और जानकारी नहीं दी गई.
