James, a bond-servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes who are dispersed abroad: Greetings. (James 1 verse 1)

Because James recognized from his own story, that we are not defined by who are, what we do, or even who we are related to. Rather, we are defined by how we answer this question:
