How to Install 220 Volt in Your Garage

In this video I show ya'll how to Install a 220 Volt outlet in your garage. I did a product review on my Hobart Handler 140 Welder, because at the time I only had access to 115 Volt power, But now with the addition of the Miller Diversion 180 TIG welding machine, I need to step up my available power in the shop. So I'll walk ya'll through what i did to run 220 Volt power and how easy and safe it is to do it on your own.

I bought everything at the HomeDepot:
THHN #8 Wire
Exterior mount 220 V plug (Female)
1 1/4" Conduit
30 AMP Two Pole Breaker
(style of breaker will depend on your particular brand of breaker box)
