Hitchhiking in Turkey with a surprise! #25

This weekend I called my friend Lea and we decided to hitchhike together to the south of Turkey: Antalya. She used to work in a hotel there, so we got the opportunity to stay there for free. It was a great adventure and a trip I'll never forget!

It took us 11 hours and 4 cars in total to hitchhike from Istanbul to Antalya (Belek). The drivers seemed to be very surprised to see two (foreign) girls hitchhiking in Turkey and for sure it helped that we were able to speak with the drivers in Turkish :-) Otherwise there could have been communication issues (and yes we got asked a lot of weird questions, but all in all the drivers were all very respectful and nice to us). Happy Hitchhiking :-)
