Feeding Sheep Round Bales in Deep Snow

A couple of friends recommended I try rolling the round bales out in the field when feeding. The idea is that the grass seed in the hay will help reseed the field come spring and spreading it out will lessen the hoof impact on the grass. I couldn't do it earlier in the winter as the ground was too wet to allow the tractor on without tearing up the field. With so much snow on the ground the field's surface is protected.
