Crispy Chicken Wings every time - Game Changer
It’s easy to make killer crispy buffalo chicken wings at home on your grill. In just 40 minutes, you can have amazing crispy wings, with rich charcoal flavor that your family and friends will not believe they’re not even deep fried.
- Set the grill to indirect cooking at 425 degrees.
- Mix a teaspoon of salt and pepper with 2 TBS baking powder per pound of wings (keep adding more if need be) and cover/dust the wings . Air dry your chicken after seasoning. Make sure that the skin is dry before cooking to ensure a crispy skin. Put the chicken wings on the grill.
- After 20 min, turn the wings once.
- After 35 min, keep an eye on the wings to make sure that they have a golden crispy crust but that they’re not burning or are over-cooked.
- While the wings are on the grill, you can make the buffalo sauce.
To make the sauce, combine the following ingredients:
- 2/3 cup Frank’s Red Hot hot pepper sauce
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- To keep it the wings as crispy as possible, only toss them with the sauce right before serving.
