This family’s home got a Modern Farmhouse transformation with the main goal of creating an open concept kitchen and living room design! Our clients went through many other home renovation ideas, but never even imagined that their kitchen could be completely moved from its original spot to the center of the home. This 1960's Colonial home makeover started with taking down the walls to create a clear path for the new kitchen island design with seating that overlooks the modern farmhouse inspired living room. To keep some of the charm from the original home, we decided to refinish the wood ceiling in the living room which highlights all the reclaimed wood projects we added throughout the home.
