In September 2019 the Exiting the European Union Committee held an evidence session with witnesses representing the Freight Transport Association and the British Retail Consortium as well as the former Director General of HMRC Border Delivery Group as part of its over-arching inquiry on the progress of the UK’s negotiations on EU withdrawal.
