Amos White and Sidney Desvignes trumpets, Harvey Lankford trombone, Bert Bailey and Norman Mason clarinet & alto saxophone, Walter Thompson tenor & baritone sax, Fate Marable piano & conductor, Willie Foster banjo & guitar, Henry Kimball brass bass, and Zutty Singleton drums.

Fate Marable was a jazz pianist who made the riverboat jazz history.
He played from 1907 on steamboats that churned up and down the Mississipi River, working for Captain Joe Streckfus' Line, and conducted riverboat bands that featured some young Jazz musicians like King Oliver, Louis Armstrong, Johnny and Baby Dodds, Zutty Singleton, Pops Foster, Johnny St. Cyr, Tommy Ladnier, Red Allen.
The only record he cut was the 1924 78 RPM "Frankie and Johnny" / "Pianoflage" on Okeh 40113 with his band named ''Society Syncopators''.
