Transformers writer Paul Davids, and Transformers voice actors Gregg Berger and Laurie Faso talk about the collaboration between writer, artist, and voice actor to create a character, and how Gregg Berger created the voice for Grimlock. Gregg Berger also talks about the importance of "maintain and sustain" meaning that as a voice actor, you must be able to maintain and sustain the voice that you create in an audition for an entire voice over session. Writer Paul Davids discusses Hasbro having a final say in the voice of the character during casting, and notes that the hotel restaurant has Transformers themed drinks giving a shoutout to Gregg Berger's Grimlock and Laurie Faso's Orion Pax.

Laurie Faso is known for the voice of Orion Pax, Skydive, Rampage, and Divebomb in Transformers: Generation One, as well as Tunnel Rat in G.I. Joe, and Raphael in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze.

Gregg Berger portrays Skyfire, Grimlock, Longhaul, and Outback in Transformers: Generation One, Stockade in Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015), as well as Odie the dog, and Orson the pig in Garfield and Friends, and returns as Odie on The Garfield Show.

Paul Davids is the Production Coordinator on Transformers: Generation One, as well as the writer on several episodes including Cosmic Rust, Chaos, and Grimlock's New Brain. Paul Davids has also written several Star Wars books including The Glove of Darth Vader, and is a Producer and Performer on Amazon's The Grand Kingdom of Cookieland.
