A Handy Way to Clean Your Tractor Radiator

Anytime you're brush hogging you need to keep an eye on your temperature gauge. Especially if you're cutting pasture that has tall seed heads that can come back to the grill of the tractor and be sucked into the radiator. That can impede air flow and cause your tractor to overheat and damage the engine. This video covers how to keep your radiator clean using air to blow debris back out the front.

If the radiator is REALLY clogged, you're going to need a special tool to clean it out. The best thing I've found is the Radiator Genie, which is available here on my website: https://asktractormike.com/products-for-sale/. The Radiator Genie comes as both a water and compressed air sprayer, with a log tube to fit into the radiator area and blow out debris. I use mine often, especially when brush hogging in the summer. Here's a video that shows me putting it to a huge test: https://youtu.be/RA4d1Vxd8KA.
