TRUCKIES' HOLIDAY - 2012

If you after lots of trucks at work, this story may not be for you. This one is a little different. In 2012 as editor of Truckin' Life magazine I got together with Liz Martin of the National Road Transport Haul of Fame in Alice Springs and we planned a day of kicking back and looking at all the positive aspects of working in road transport. We gained some corporate support and we put on the truckies' day that is documented here - mostly through talking heads. The collapse of print publishing and problems with the Hall of Fame never saw this day repeated - but hey, it was a great idea and we had a bit of fun!
